Ham Glaze
Sweet, tangy, and just a little bit sassy, this Chutney Ham Glaze turns a simple baked ham into the centerpiece of the table. Mama Fuerte Chutney is blended with brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple juice into a rich, flavorful glaze, then baked right onto the ham for a glossy, caramelized finish. Easy to prepare and impossible to mess up, it's the perfect way to upgrade your holiday or Sunday dinner main course.
Ingredients
½ cup Mama Fuerte Chutney
½ cup Brown Sugar
¼ cup Dijon Mustard
¼ cup Apple Juice
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place ham in heavy roasting pan.
Add Mama Fuerte Chutney, brown sugar, mustard & apple juice in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
If desired, score fat on ham, 1 in diamond pattern before baking.
Pour glaze over ham, place thermometer into thickest part of ham and cook until it registers 140 degrees.
Let rest for 15 min, slightly covered with foil before serving.
