Ham Glaze

Sweet, tangy, and just a little bit sassy, this Chutney Ham Glaze turns a simple baked ham into the centerpiece of the table. Mama Fuerte Chutney is blended with brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple juice into a rich, flavorful glaze, then baked right onto the ham for a glossy, caramelized finish. Easy to prepare and impossible to mess up, it's the perfect way to upgrade your holiday or Sunday dinner main course.

 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Mama Fuerte Chutney

  • ½ cup Brown Sugar

  • ¼ cup Dijon Mustard

  • ¼ cup Apple Juice


Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Place ham in heavy roasting pan.

  • Add Mama Fuerte Chutney, brown sugar, mustard & apple juice in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

  • If desired, score fat on ham, 1 in diamond pattern before baking.

  • Pour glaze over ham, place thermometer into thickest part of ham and cook until it registers 140 degrees.

  • Let rest for 15 min, slightly covered with foil before serving.
