Glazed Salmon Filets
Bring bold flavor to your dinner table with this easy glazed salmon recipe. A simple blend of Mama Fuerte Chutney and water creates a sweet, tangy glaze that caramelizes beautifully as the salmon cooks, resulting in tender, flaky fillets with minimal prep. Whether baked in the oven or cooked in the air fryer, this recipe is a quick and delicious option for any night of the week.
Ingredients
1 lb Salmon, cut into 4 filets
2 tbsp Mama Fuerte Chutney
2 tbsp Water
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Preheat your oven or air fryer to 400°F.
Mix chutney with water in a small bowl to create glaze.
Scale and debone salmon, then cut into 4 even filets. Score the skin to prevent curling. Thoroughly dry filets with paper towels.
Generously season the skin with salt and pepper, and pat onto the fish. Flip the filets over so they are flesh side up. Using a pastry brush or the back of a spoon, spread the chutney glaze over the filets, covering both the top and the sides.
Spray rimmed baking sheet or fryer basket with neutral oil and arrange filets skin side down. Cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes. If your filets are on the large side, check after an additional 3-5 minutes.
