Creamy Sausage Pasta
Rich, creamy, and full of bold flavor, this Creamy Sausage Pasta is an easy comfort meal the whole family will love. Savory sausage is tossed with tender pasta in a velvety sauce made with heavy cream and Mama Fuerte Chutney, creating the perfect balance of creamy, tangy, and subtly sweet flavors. It's a satisfying dinner that's simple enough for busy weeknights but delicious enough to serve to guests.
Ingredients
8-12 oz long pasta
1 lb. Linked sausage
1 tbsp. Olive oil
1 lg. Onion (sweet, yellow, or red)
1/2 Sweet red bell pepper
1 tsp. Garlic, minced
2 tbsp. Dry white wine
2 cups Heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup Mama Fuerte Chutney
Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)
Preparation
Bring large pot of water to boil. Add salt. Cook pasta to desired tenderness.
Meanwhile, fully cook sausage links in pan or grill, drain & let rest while preparing sauce.
Chop onion & red peppers and sauté in pan with olive oil.
Mix in garlic & white wine.
Increase heat to medium/high, add chutney & whipping cream. Stir to combine.
Once mixed together reduce heat & let simmer for 5 minutes.
Slice sausage and add to sauce.
Serve sauce over pasta. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme leaves, if desired.
